Wine copywriting

Whether you’re a wine producer, importer, distributor or shop, you want to make a great first impression on your potential customers. A bottle of wine needs to tell the end consumer what they’re drinking – but also who you are as a brand. A B2B factsheet or brochure needs to sell your wines to the person who can get them onto people’s dining tables. A website may have many different audiences – and yours needs to connect with all of them.

In short: you have a message, and I can help deliver it. Engaging with the right audience, in the right way. As a copywriter and editor focused on the food & drinks industry, I’ve worked on label text for Dutch gin brands, web copy for wine companies, and video scripts for a household beer brand. Plus, I managed all the editorial content for food & drinks tour company Eating Europe for several years.

Food & wine writing in the media

I write wine-related articles for both online and print publications, including Decanter, Devour and DutchNews. I’ve also contributed food & drinks sections to several guidebooks, including the Michelin Must See Guide, Rough Guide and DK Eyewitness Travel Guide.

What my clients say…

“Vicky is one of the hardest working, most efficient and effective business people I have ever worked with. She was responsible for helping manage the Amsterdam and Prague businesses for Eating Europe. This job required someone organized, flexible, a good writer who can give creative direction, manage others and effectively manage her own time while constantly taking on new tasks and adapting to new responsibilities. Vicky can do all these things and more.” ~ Attessa Bradley

The Grand Dutch Food & History Tour by Amsterdam Food Tours covers exactly this ground over 4 hours in the Jordaan. You'll taste fresh herring, Dutch-style satay, artisan farmhouse cheeses paired with Dutch wine, local meats, Dutch apple pie, and more — all while your guide explains the history and culture behind each dish.
