homepage

Amsterdam Foodie has been an independent food and wine platform since 2007 – which means nearly two decades of restaurant reviews, culinary travel guides and wine recommendations, all written from the perspective of someone who genuinely loves wining and dining.

Over the years, the site has built a loyal international readership of local food lovers, visitors and expats who trust Amsterdam Foodie’s recommendations precisely because they’re honest. That trust is something I guard carefully. Which is also why, when I do work with brands, I’m selective about who I partner with and how.

Who reads Amsterdam Foodie?

Around 70,000 people visit the site every month, drawn mainly from the Netherlands, the UK, the US and wider Europe. They’re here because they’re planning a trip, looking for a restaurant, or just love reading about food and wine. In other words, they’re exactly the kind of engaged, curious audience that’s hard to reach through generic advertising.

A few key stats:

  • 70,000+ monthly visitors
  • Domain authority of 43
  • 20 years of organic search visibility
  • Evergreen, SEO-optimised articles that continue to rank and attract readers long after publication
  • 14,000+ Instagram followers

How we can work together

I predominantly offer two types of commercial partnership, both of which are clearly labelled in line with EU regulations – because my readers deserve to know, and frankly because transparency is better for everyone.

  • Sponsored features are long-form articles written in Amsterdam Foodie’s editorial style, based on input from you. I write and/or edit them, and I retain editorial rights. These work best for brands, restaurants, destinations or products that have a genuine story to tell and a clear connection to food, wine or travel.
  • Contextual brand mentions are placements within existing, relevant articles: a natural reference to your brand or product where it genuinely adds value for the reader. These work well for reaching people who are already in the right mindset, whether they’re planning a trip to Valencia or looking for a wine bar in Amsterdam.

Pricing

Sponsored features start from €350 for a 12-month placement (or €900 for permanent placement). Contextual brand mentions start from €175 for 12 months (or €450 permanently). Renewals are available at reduced rates.

For briefs that involve additional research, visits, interviews or a more complex scope, I’m happy to discuss a custom quote – just get in touch and tell me what you have in mind.

Editorial standards

Just as important as what I offer is what I don’t. Amsterdam Foodie does not accept undisclosed sponsorship, advertorial disguised as editorial, guaranteed positive reviews, or partnerships with brands that have no relevance to food, wine or travel. (Before anyone else asks me, that includes gambling, crypto and CBD.)
