Berlin: food highlights
It always slightly grates on me when bloggers spend post after post apologising for not posting. If you’ve got nothing to say, then don’t say it.
But here I am feeling strangely guilty for not having blogged much this past month, and trying to absolve myself through blogging about it. Hypocritical, I realise.
Anyway, the reason for the lack of blog entries (specifically restaurant reviews) is that I’ve been catching bands at Pinkpop, entertaining visitors (though – seemingly – not in new restaurants) and travelling abroad. Namely to Berlin.
So in order that this post can at least demonstrate some kind of point (other than guilt-assuaging excuses about lack of writing) I thought I’d share some of the food highlights of my trip to Germany: Lebanese food in Prenzlauer Berg, sausages on the street and haute cuisine from restaurant Maxwell.
- Street food: Bratwurst
- Lebanese mezze
- Almond soup with foie gras and grapes
- Rabbit with puy lentils
