Tight dresses, the Alps and ways to earn a foodie buck

Well dear readers, I’m off again!

This time to the wedding for which I utterly failed to diet (Andrea, you win), to be seen standing up very straight in my red dress, trying to remember not to breathe. Then it’s on to Morzine, where I trained to be a chalet girl back in the heady days of 1998… blast from the past ‘n all that. No doubt some French food and wine will be sampled along the way…

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this rather wonderful posting from a reader of this blog. As if I didn’t have enough culinary ambition, here are 100 ways to get paid to eat :-)

Bon vacances!

Vicky

I really love your site, love what you write about and have actually followed your advice. Was desperately looking for a place that sells decent chicken soup for a very ill son on his first visit to your beautiful city! Nothing like chicken soup to cure ails, I promise you (as long as it contains the right ingredients) :)

He has only one week and I really wanted him to love it as I do and be able to eat all those amazing things you have on offer and now the tonsils are playing up! Thanks so much for your typical Dutch hospitality.
