Mash-ups, and not of the potato variety!

Tonight my brother is coming on business from Brussels to visit me in Amsterdam. This presages two things for the world of the Amsterdam Foodie’s blog: firstly, that we will be going out for dinner, so you can expect another restaurant review in the near future; and secondly, that the blog is about to get slightly more technical! My brother is piloting what he calls a ‘mash-up’, which in this case seems to be a combination of the journal itself and some coding that uses Google maps to show the user where they can find each featured restaurant on a map of Amsterdam. All very impressive, I feel!
